Each individual has earned their nationally accredited qualifications and are always adding to their knowledge through further education and experience in their fields. We all strive to be the best at what we do, so you get the very best service possible from start to finish.

Meet Liam Rushmer
Meet Liam, owner and founder of Fitness Rush. Liam prides himself on no nonsense results by applying a no pressure approach to training. He has adapted his methods over the last 12 years of training individuals and has found the most effective way of helping clients surpass their goals at a manageable pace.
Combining strength and cardiovascular training, Liam has developed hundreds of training programmes to make sure each plan is tailored to each and every client. No two plans will ever be the same and by using his extensive knowledge, Liam ensures his clients are comfortable and training within their limits whilst reaching every target they set out to hit.
Liam continually proves that Fitness is for everyone and takes away the anxiety of training in gyms by offering an exclusive personal training gym which targets people who just want to succeed.
Meet Catherine McFadzean
Catherine’s Fitness Rush journey started when she attended one of our community initiatives in her home town of Cambridge. After leaving a life of homelessness, substance abuse and alcoholism behind her, Catherine started a Level 1 qualification in Active Healthy Living, which ultimately catapulted her into a world of fitness, community and a new career.
Following the completion of her first qualification, Catherine personally shadowed the Fitness Rush founder – Liam Rushmer to learn the company’s methodology and vision for the future. Within 6 short months, Catherine 7 months sober and fully qualified as a Professional Personal Trainer.
You will see Catherine at community initiatives and at the Fitness Rush private facility in Old Hurst. Since finishing her initial 13 week internship, Catherine is now a fully fledged member of the Team and is ready to assist individuals and community members on their own fitness journey’s.
Meet Charlie Hewitt
A First Class Sports Therapy graduate, with experience working in elite sport, with the likes of Southampton FC and currently working with Norwich City FC. With a systematic approach, focusing on functional movement, he has developed a proven approach to effectively help clients achieve their goals.
Charlie has furthered his career at Fitness Rush by completing him personal training qualifications and using his wealth of knowledge with the human body, can maximise the services he delivers with first class results.
Whether you need to move better or shape-up, Charlie has the experience to assist you towards your well-being goals.
His understanding of the human anatomy has allowed Charlie to transfer his physiotherapy skills towards personal training his clients towards ultimate sports performance.
Meet Sam Palmer
With a wealth of knowledge in Sports Therapy and working with professional athletes, Sam has joined Fitness Rush to help individuals move, feel and live better through advanced physiotherapy and massage treatments. By learning proven techniques alongside the world’s best physiotherapists’, Sam understands how and why the body needs to move efficiently in order to maximise the comfort and freedom of his patients.

Utilising manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue massage, joint mobilisations and mobility techniques; alongside precise exercise prescription and correct implementation of these exercises.
