MEET Sian Barnes

Sian has been a Personal Trainer for over 5 years and has a passion for health and wellness. Sian is a very supportive person, and no goal is out of reach. She has developed as a trainer through the years; and has adapted her methods to find the most effective ways to gain positive results.

With a degree in Strength and Conditioning, her approach to training programmes is very specific to each individual, and their needs. Combining resistance training and plyometric training, Sian has created numerous training programmes that have created incredible performance results.

Exercise impacts you both physically and mentally, and I ensure my training sessions are tailored to benefit both.

THIS IS SIAN

Having had to go through intense physiotherapy as a young child, exercise was important to ensure I was able to build the muscle tone any child would naturally have. Luckily my parents supported me through everything and encouraged me to be the best in my favourite two sports: Karate and Swimming.

I competed at a high level in both sports and required weight training to support my ability. And this was where my love for the gym appeared. I no longer do karate, and I no longer swim competitively, however I love weight training, and my bodybuilding career has only just begun! 

EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSc (Hons) Strength and Conditioning (2:1)
  • Level 4 Diabetes and Weight Management (PENDING)
  • Level 3 Personal Trainer Diploma
  • Level 3 Exercise Referral Instructor
  • Level 2 Fitness Instructor

EXPERIENCE

Having been a part of the fitness industry for so many years, teaching group sessions is a second nature to me now. I have a great understanding of how everyone needs to train differently to get different results and having spent so many years studying the human body and movement, my programmes are made to create long lasting transformations.
